1. Acceptance and Applicability
These terms apply to use of the Buddha Group India website and to logistics enquiries made through it. Service engagements are also governed by shipment-level quotations, confirmations, invoices, and supporting transport documents issued by Buddha Shipping and Services Pvt. Ltd.
2. Quotations and Commercial Terms
- Quotations are issued based on shipment details shared by the customer and are valid only for the period stated in the quote.
- Rates may change due to carrier revisions, fuel and currency fluctuations, regulatory updates, congestion, or force majeure.
- Any out-of-scope services, penalties, demurrage, detention, or statutory charges are billed separately where applicable.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete shipment, commodity, and documentation details.
- Ensure compliance with applicable import and export regulations.
- Complete payments as per agreed credit terms and due dates.
- Arrange required licenses, approvals, and certifications where applicable.
4. Transit Times and Liability
Transit timelines are estimates and may vary due to operational, regulatory, weather, or carrier-related factors. Liability for cargo is subject to applicable law, carrier conditions, and agreed contractual terms. Customers are advised to arrange suitable cargo insurance for financial risk protection.
5. Intellectual Property and Website Use
All website content, branding, and design elements are owned by or licensed to Buddha Shipping and Services Pvt. Ltd. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or misuse is prohibited. Users shall not attempt to disrupt site security or service availability.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable laws of India. Disputes, if any, are subject to the jurisdiction agreed in the commercial contract or order confirmation.
